Frequently Asked Questions MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION Tips  Please answer all questions completely. Please type or print in blue or black ink. Please indicate which level of membership (Stock, Social, Junior Associate or Non-Resident) is being applied for by clearly marking the space(s) provided. Signatures must be legible. Stock in the River Hills Club of Jackson, Inc. is owned only in one name. The stock certificate can be issued in one name only; therefore, only one name may be listed as the applicant for membership. Social, Junior Associate and Non-Resident members are not eligible to sign applications (as references). A stockholding member or the spouse of a stockholding member is eligible to sign an application as one reference. COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS When is my application due? Applications are due in the River Hills office by the 15the of each month in order to be considered at that month's Board meeting (held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month). When do I pay for my membership? No monies are exchanged until AFTER the application process is complete (approximately 2 weeks after the 1st of the month). When/How do I purchase Club stock? Club stock is purchased through the front office. Once application process is completed and approved monies will be turned into the office for stock transactions. When/How does my membership begin? The approved applicants should contact Karen Law in the River Hills office to arrange an appointment to set up their account. The purchaser of the stock must bring two separate checks: one check for the purchase of the stock and one check for the initiation fee and the first month's dues the purchaser will be given a welcome packet and their member number. The process is then complete and membership privileges are immediate. Are my children automatically entitled to Club privileges? Children under the age of 21 are entitled to all Club privileges under their parents' membership.
