Class Descriptions

Aerobics
 
A workout of simple moves choreographed to music.  This class is very easy to accommodate all fitness levels.  It can vary from no impact to as high a level as you would like to go.  The 40 minute routine is easy to follow and we also do light upper body weights and sit-ups.

Yoga
 
Discover how to build stamina, strength and flexibility through the power of yoga.  Experience a balanced workout which incorporates breath work, posture and intention.

Cardio-Combo
 
A 45 minute unchoreographed combination of step, kick-boxing, and boot camp moves.  This is a more intense workout but can still be modified for a less strenuous workout.  Some core strengthening work is done during the last 15 minutes of class.

Joint-Mobility
 
In this class we will perform a series of well-balanced exercises, starting with the neck, working throughout every moveable joint through its appropriate range of motion.  We will use stretch bands, medicine balls and lightweight dumb bells.

Strength and Flexibility
 
A workout that features 5 minute intervals working with each large muscle group, combined with easy stretching for increased flexibility.

Core Training
 
Using balance and weight equipment with combination exercises we work on the ability of the lumbo pelvic hip-complex musculative (core) to control an individuals constantly changing center of gravity and moving in different planes of motion.
